Aplikasi Manajemen Produktivitas Kerja Berbasis Web untuk Monitoring Kinerja di Politeknik TEDC Bandung

Abstrak

Politeknik TEDC Bandung is a vocational higher education institution established in 2001, comprising 12 study programs and a relatively complex organizational structure. The large number of work units involved in academic and non-academic activities poses challenges in task management, coordination, and performance monitoring by the institutional leadership. This condition highlights the need for an integrated system capable of supporting effective task management and performance monitoring. This study aims to design and develop a work productivity management application as a medium for task management and a tool for structured and real-time performance monitoring. The developed application is equipped with task assignment features that enable users to allocate work clearly, including task details and deadlines, progress monitoring features to track task completion across sub-units in real time, and an internal communication feature to facilitate coordination among units. The development methodology employed is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which provides a systematic approach to software development. The system is implemented using PHP programming language with the CodeIgniter framework and MySQL database.

The testing results using black-box testing indicate that all system functions operate as intended. Furthermore, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), evaluated based on feature functionality and user satisfaction, achieved an average score of 88%, indicating a high level of user acceptance. Therefore, the developed application is proven to enhance the effectiveness of task management and performance monitoring within Politeknik TEDC Bandung.
